What to know

More than a set of numbers

Your appointment can include a review of current symptoms or concerns, medical and family history, lifestyle and medicines. Appropriate blood panels or individual tests are then selected rather than treating every person as the same checklist.

Testing available through the clinic includes areas such as full blood count, iron and nutritional markers, thyroid and hormonal health, inflammation, kidney and liver health, bone and muscle health, heart-related markers and blood sugar. The exact panel depends on the consultation.

You receive a report and an explanation of the results, including appropriate next steps. A routine health check is not an emergency or urgent-care service.

Your consultation

Suitability, alternatives, likely outcomes, risks, timing and the full cost are discussed before you decide.

Questions before you book.

Which tests are included?

The tests depend on the purpose of your health check. Contact the clinic before booking if you have a particular panel or concern in mind.

Do I need to fast?

Some tests require preparation and others do not. The clinic will confirm the instructions for your agreed panel; do not fast unless you have been advised to.

What happens after the results?

The clinic provides an understandable report and discusses appropriate next steps, which may include monitoring, lifestyle advice or follow-up with your GP or another service.
